HOW DOES A NIGHT NANNY WORK?
A night nanny typically arrives around 10pm and stays until 7 am for the families they work for. This schedule typically lasts between 6-12 weeks depending on the family.
WHAT DO THEY DO DURING THE NIGHT?
There are many roles of a night nanny, Below are the most common duties:
Diaper, burp, swaddle, soothe, bathe, and monitor baby
Educate and teach new parents on newborn care
Provide breast and bottle feeding support
Help get baby on schedule and sleeping through the night
Clean bottles, baby laundry, and pump parts as needed
Night Nannies start at $30/hr+ and contracts are typically between 6-16 weeks in length
